...are taking over
Call me crazy, weird, or immature but I was just thinking about what if we come to the point in technology where we have robots doing everything for us and then... these same robots over throw the human population making all of us humans live in underground shelters for the rest of our lives. Or risk staying above ground to be fried by their super advanced lasers which they designed themselves after we taught them how. Strange thought, right?
Think about it. These robots would get smarter and smarter as they teach themselves, and to start they already have all of the human knowledge possible because humans built them. Then, they try and get rid of us... THEN they start working on making themselves more like humans. They start replicating our skin using silly putty models. Then they start imitating our rituals and habits. They go out for a night of bowling, a game of darts, they go to the movies, they go to the garage to get a tune up (Their version of a doctor's check up). They even go to church on Sunday's and after wards they have a potluck which every robot "family" brings their favorite Oil to share with the group. Oh and Just have to say... if the world was/is taken over by robots, I want the robots to look like this. Yes, this would be the best I feel. And you might think to yourself this post is completely random and not that "great", but hey! I was bored...I wanted to draw...I wanted to write, and there you have it.
p.s. I am totally the gray and red robot on roller skates. He's geeky.

The Sheep and the Goats
No one is too low for you.
I was reading the book of Matthew the other day, and came across the parable of the Sheep and the Goats. I thought it was such a neat parable and how it made such a great point.
31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne.
32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.
35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,
36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?
38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?
39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
Then Jesus talks about the goats he puts on his left hand side. (Bummer)
41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’
44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’
45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’
46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”
When I read this I just think "Wow". I mean really, what an amazing way God thinks. He really does count every single one of us as his own and counts us as a part of him. When it comes time to separate us... I'd much rather be the goofy looking sheep than the sad looking goat. How about you? The way Jesus describes it as himself being the one cared for when we care for others is just flat out... awesome. When ever we help someone in need, sacrifice for someone else, or anything like that we're doing it for Jesus. Or atleast that's how He sees it. I like this. More thoughts to come.

Good, Is Different
It's funny how everyone wants to be "different" and yet almost everyone is so alike. I am thankful for the few people who are "different". These different people make a difference. Just saying.

Day One In My Mind
I am learning there isn't much you can count on in this world. Things change and you can never be sure what will happen next. The earthquake in Japan for example. I had the thought the other day, "What if someone could have known that was going to happen?" Thousands of people wouldn't have died, and their country wouldn't be in such turmoil now." That was a thought I had. Also, I bet not one of those people who died in that earthquake woke up knowing it was their last day on earth. What a scary thought really.
Enough of the "Doom and Gloom". I am going to now spout of some thoughts that have been in my mind lately. Here we go. Thought one: "Wouldn't it be cool if we had fast upbeat music turn on anytime we feel like we have to overcome something? For me it always tends to be something sports oriented. Always trying to top someone else. Or be the best. That sorta thing.Thought two: "Yes! I made it through another quarter of college; maybe I will graduate after all!" Yes, I seriously had doubts. I had a horrible professor this quarter and it about robbed me of all of my ambition to learn. Thought three: "What do people find so fun about Baseball? I mean really? It seems like you just stand around, and catch a ball or swing. I hear there is lots of strategy to it...but I really don't buy that. " Thought four: "I wonder if being filthy rich is really all as great as it seems. I'd like to be filthy rich for one week to see what it's like." Thought five: "Are dolphins really that sweet as they make them out to be? I bet if I Googled it I could find a story about a dolphin biting or even eating a small child....something to blacken their reputation. Not that I'm against dolphins... I'm just skeptical ever since Flipper."
